GENTLEMEN RIDERS ROOKIE RUMBLE 23/01/2012

Am Sonntag 23/01/2012 fand im Gentlemenrider’s Nitro Park im Schnalstal der 3. „GENTELEMENRIDERS ROOKIE RUMBLE“ statt.

Trotz nicht allzu gutem Wetter und starken Windböen waren bereits früh am Morgen schon viele Kids im Park um sich auf den Contest vorzubereiten. Fakieshop-Teamrider "Watte" und "Gentlemen Patsch" gaben Tips und fuhren mit den Kids einige Runden. Schlussendlich waren es 13 eingeschriebene Teilnehmer zwischen 13 und 16 Jahren unter ihnen auch ein Mädchen.

Es gab 2 Runs und die besten 5 qualifizierten sich fürs Finale.

Bevor die Qualifizierten genannt wurden und sich die Judges berieten,

konnten sich die Kids mit Würstln und Getränken, von den Gentlemenriders gesponsert, stärken. Die 5 Qualifizierten waren Simon Seehauser, Benny Golfer, Daniel Crepaz, Hannes Weither und Florian Puintner.

Kurz nach 14.00 Uhr gaben die Judges die 3 Platzierten bekannt.

Es gab zusätzlichen eine Best-Trick Gewinner.

Die Preise wurden von Fakieshop (Gutscheine) und Gentlemenriders (Pokale) gesponsert.

Die 2 Pokale wurden heuer von Jacky selbstgemacht. Jeder Teilnehmer erhielt zudem ein Gentlemen TShirt.

Shooting in Val Senales: Isenseven Edit

The past end of season we spent some great days in Val Senales together with our friends from Isenseven. This is what came out from the F-tech Spring Session in April and an epic week alone at the wonderful and closed Val Senales glacier. A week full of creativity, riding, having fun in the Bella Vista chalet with jaccuzi, amazing view over the mountain and a lot of good food. The riders featured in the video are Alex Tank, Mario Käppeli, Tobi Strauss, Ethan Morgan, David Struber, André Kuhlmann, Luca Jeromel, Simon Gruber, Colin Frei, Peter König. Gentlemen's Nitro Park Completed

Snow conditions on the Val Senales Glacier are getting better and better and the F-tech crew has completed the pro line a few weeks ago (Kickers 13mt & 18 mt, new spliff pole jam, new jibs and rails). Here the latest video where you can watch the whole setup of the Gentlemenriders Nitro Park. In a few days we will start to build a new pro rail line where amongst others our youngest babys, the 10 meters candy cane & the mega up tube 9 meters will be ready to shred down. Gentlemen's Nitro Park at Nissan Skipass Tradeshow

The Nissan Skipass tradeshow was crowded as hell also this year, about 98.739 visitors have been there! The Gentlemen's Nitro Park was present with a double booth in the Freestyle area during this big italian event. A lot of friends passed by to great us and grab some typical South Tirolean Speck! The winter season is almost upon us and the F-Tech crew is working hard. There are several innovations planned for 2011/2012, first at all you may have noticed a change in the name of the park. Yes we are happy to present our new partnership with Fiat Freestyle Team. They will support us during the season in Val Senales next to Nitro Snowboards, Smith Optics and fakieshop.com

The park also will take several changes, we are looking forward to the end of October for a new pro rail and jib line with 8 new table. Don’t be afraid for the opening days, because during the weekend of 8th October, you can warm up and train again to ride your board on a super fun easy line. More and more of the Structures will be build till the Big Opening scheduled for October 29th. Do not miss the first test of materials Season October 14 to 16, all major companies in the industry will set up the usual tests at the “test village”. Read all the dates ...

Back in winter time!

Today we got up and had a very cool surprise, we had fresh powder like in winter!!! The guys of the F-Tech Crew made there best to open the Gentlemen's Nitro Park as fast as possible, and we had sun a lot of sun.
With this awesome weather we also had the possibility to use the 15x15m BigAirBag and try new tricks. At the new rail line with 2 down rails, 1 down donkey rail, 1 down splined tube and a double kinked rail where stomped good tricks and some nice pictures came out. We are hoping for the same weather witch we had today for the closing weekend because there are several things we gonna do in any case. Ofcourse you can ride in the park till Sunday, but on Saturday the 23rd you can find also the highest soccer tournament in the Alps, and an unforgettable closing party at the lake and a after closing party at the Leo's Pub direct at Kurzras/Maso Corto with the DJ Setup of SickNano and Upsetting Max.

Another Week of the Gentlemen’s Summer Camp is over and the shapers of F-Tech crew did again an awesome work with the summer snow conditions. The new pro rail line is now possible to ride and on Sunday/Monday 15x15 meter BigAirBag will arrive and will be fixed on the big kicker of the proline, the setup of the park changed also on the medium line featuring new jibbing obstachles. You can ride here till the 24th July. The Chill area is still open every day and twice a week we have an awesome bbq. On Saturday 16th July we are organizing the highest soccer tournament in the Alps (on 2011 meter over the sea). The winners of our weekly lottery are Mori Mozzi that will enjoy a week in Santander with SurfToLive.com, and Andrea Tartaglino that will receive at home for a year Onboard mag. Billtoft and Medlova Took the Summer Rookie Fest 2011

Ludvig Billtoft from Sweden and Klaudia Medlova from Slovakia resulted the best male and female riders at the 2star Summer Rookie Fest 2011 in Val Senales, Italy, the first event of the World Rookie Tour 2011-12. With 24 riders from Italy, Switzerland, Cezch Republic, Sweden and Slovakia, the event was hosted in the Nitro Gentlemen’s Snowpark, one of the best summer glacier park in Europe. Among the male rookie category Ludvig Billtoft resulted the best and won an all-inclusive invitation to the legendary 3Star slopestyle “World Rookie Fest” in Livigno, Italy. Martin Mikyska from Czech Republic and Nicholas Bridgman from Italy got second and third with solid runs on the slashy summer snow. Among the rookie girls the Slovakian ripper Klaudia Medlova showcase an high level of riding and won her section, followed on the podium from Verena Rohrer (Sui) and Katerina Yanova (Czk). Among the young grom, born from 1997 and up, the male winner was Dario Burch from Switzerland while the female winner was Katerina Vojockova from Czech Republic.

The event tooke place during the Summer Rookie Camp, an international training meeting dedicated to under 18 years old riders who wish to improve their skills for the upcoming World Rookie Tour. The 2Star Slopestyle “Summer RookieFest” happened in the last 2 days of the camp, and saw the participation of many of the campers, plus national rookie teams which joined the meeting.

What Else do you Want From Val Senales?

ENG/ It has began the third week of the Gentlemen's Summer Camp in Val Senales! The Gentlemen's Nitro Park continues to maintain the same set up with as many as 39 facilities suitable for all levels shaped daily by the F-Tech crew. After the edit by Markus Eder and Matthias Fabbro there has also been realised the Gentlemen's Summer video shot during the past few weeks, don't miss the next episode with Markino Grigis and Simon Gruber! In these days we decided to try to make all things possible except drinking at Leo's, on Sunday we did kayaking, a horseback ride, fishing, skateboarding, extreme slackline sessions, bbq, tigella party and a suicidal trampolin remaining within 500sqm. We tried to move 1 or 2 km and we managed to do well with an adjacent downhill and climbing tour to the cows, and for the most demanding few laps in the pool! Tell us what you can miss in this haven away from the heat and the caos of the city? The next appointments to the Gentlemen's Nitro Park will be the Summer Rookie Fest July 5 to 9, the football tournament (prepare your team with at least 5 + 1 persons), the BigAirBag week (July 14 to 24), no excuse to miss your week and come and meet us!

If you are curious to see the park become a fan of the official page of the Gentlemen's Summer you will be updated about the conditions of the park, on Monday we’ve had a pleasantly surprised, winter temperatures seeds early in the morning and snow course hours in summer! The summer camp based in Maso Corto is open until July 24, you can book lessons in snowboarding with Sami Bakar and Mirko Kaneider or freeskiing lessons with Matthias Fabbro also enrolled at the club you will have access to test area where you will find boards by DC, Capita , Nitro, Rome, Yes, Bataleon, and bike by Alutech. With our membership card you will participate in the contest super SurfToLive.com that will be raffling off 6-week stay at the Surf House in Santander, Spain. The second winner was to be extracted is Claudia Mulser this week, you could be the next one! Needless to remind that the GMR will continue grilling at the lake near the skate park available to all.

After a week of hard work at the Gentlemen's Nitro Park Val Senales the F-Tech crew finished a perfect easy/jibbing line that includes 15 obstacles in a run, and even the medium and pro line are usable with a 12m, 18m and 22m kickers and a corner. The park it's been literally stormed of riders during the first sunny day, take a look at the images to make yourself an idea of what you can find here in South Tirol during the Gentlemen's Summer. The Candy Week (read HERE all infos about this girl camp) it's started, from the 12th to the 19th June we are hosting this girl camp that will be celebrated with a party on Saturday 19th and Dj BEESKIT will be our super guest for the night, this thanks to our partner Keep a Breast Foundation.

The Summer Camp will last till the 24th July, you can take snowboard and freeski lessons, and joining our club means also having the chance to win every week a 7 day habitation in the SurfToLive.com Surf house in Santander, Spain. Candy Week - 12/19th June

ENG/ Let’s keep it simple and to the point! We are waiting for you in Val Senales for the Candy Week in the 12th – 19th June for a snowbard and freeski freestyle camp only for girls. If you want to upgrade your riding or simply ride with some girls this is the week you can't miss! Snowboard and freeski lessons will be performed during the week, then you'll have the chance to take climbing and skateboarding lessons for free!

Down in the valley we also amplify our chilling & bbq area and for sure also the free time activities and programm. As you know with the Gentlemen's summer card you have access to all our leisure time facilities like fishing, bbq, horse riding, climbing (incl. climbing equipment), slack lines, bikes, rope park and much more. Furthermore, with joining the Gentlemen's club you have the chance to win every week a 7 day accomodation in the SurfToLive.com Surfhouse in Santander / Spain. If you decide to book the week but you want to take lessons only during the weekend will be possible too. ITA/ Vuoi migliorare il tuo riding o semplicemente passare una vacanza all'insegna dello sport con un sacco di ragazze? La Candy Week sarà l'appuntamento estivo ospitato dai Gentlemen's e dalla F-Tech Crew in Val Senales dove sarà possibile partecipare a camp freestyle di snowboard e freeski e non solo, infatti durante la settimana ci sarà l'opportunità di partecipare a lezioni gratuite di arrampicata e skate. Nella rinnovata zona chilling presso il laghetto troverai il nostro staff tutti i pomeriggi, tra musica e relax potrai gustarti appieno la montagna, immancabili le due grigliate settimanali. Ti ricordiamo che il sabato verrà estratta una vincitrice per il concorso SurfToLive.com che si porterà a casa un soggiorno di una settimana presso la surfhouse di Santander. Keep A Breast Foundation sarà nuovamente partner dell'evento a cui dedicheremo la giornata di sabato, tra workshop e party. Oltre all'immancabile braccialetto 'I love boobies' ed al materiale informativo sulla prevenzione del cancro al seno, ci sarà un Dj set d'eccezione con Beeskit per un'altra super festa al Leo's Pub. I dettagli del programma saranno online in settimana!

Evitiamo discussioni patti chiari e amicizia lunga:

-lo skipass che ti verrà consegnato all'iscrizione avrà validità per l'intero periodo;

-le stanze sono da 2, 3, 4 o 5 persone, nel momento della prenotazione devi scriverci la tua preferenza, inoltre se sei con un'amica dobbiamo sapere il suo nome e cognome per prenotare le stanze;

-il pacchetto include solo il pernottamento, niente colazione e/o pasti per l'opzione light, mentre potrai scegliere la mezza pensione con l'opzione full;

-dopo averci scritto alla mail summer@gentlemenriders.com riceverai istruzioni per il versamento che ci servirà per prenotare il tuo alloggio e confermare la tua partecipazione al camp;

-perfavore prenota al più presto, i posti sono limitati!

Ovviamente si tratta della sistemazione in camera doppia, quindi se vuoi condividere la stanza con più ragazze ti costerà meno. Inoltre se decidi di soggiornare l'intera settimana sarà possibile prenotare la sistemazione per i 7 giorni e il camp con le lezioni solamente per il weekend.

Durante lo svolgimento del camp sarà realizzata una clip che verrà pubblicata su www.gentlemenriders.com inoltre le immagini saranno disponibili su facebook e sul blog oltre che sul webmag del nostro mediapartner www.disoriented.it

If you want to take lessons (first steps or also upgrade your riding & style) our coaches Samy Bakar & Mirko Kaneider are motivated to show you some skillz. All summer long you can test next years boards and hardware from more than 15 leader brands in our every day opened test and tooling center.
